The Super Handicraft Workshop in Nagina

Located in the historic woodworking town of Nagina (Bijnor district, Uttar Pradesh), our workshop represents continuous generational expertise in traditional lathe woodturning, chisel joinery, and solid brass casting since the 1980s.

🪵

Naturally Seasoned Timber

We source mature Indian Sheesham (Dalbergia sissoo) and Indian Rosewood logs. Timber is kiln-seasoned and air-cured to achieve moisture levels below 12%, ensuring canes and cutting boards do not split or bend across seasonal humidity shifts.

⚙️

Traditional Lathe Turning

Every walking cane shaft is spun by hand on wood lathes. Master turners shape the taper, cut accent collars, and hand-sand the wood through successive grits to achieve an organic, warm satin surface before waxing.

⚜️

Solid Sand-Cast Brass

Our animal crests (Eagle, Horse, Victorian Derby, Spyglass telescope) are sand-cast in solid brass, then manually chased with fine chisels and finished with a protective natural patina or high polish.

🌿

Non-Toxic Food-Safe Finishes

For cutting boards and butcher blocks, we never use synthetic varnishes or polyurethane. Only 100% USP food-grade white mineral oil and natural beeswax are applied, preserving food purity and knife edges.
